Otonabee Squares Peterborough

Dear Friends and Fellow Dancers,

Welcome everyone back to a new season of square dancing. We hope that you’ve had a wonderful summer and are ready to begin a new year and are excited to meet up with everyone.

We had a few summer dances and an exciting convention in Calgary. Everyone had a lovely time at Jean and Howard Lander’s farm and at Elke’s party.

Nelly Vanvelhuizen visited the Square Dance Convention in Calgary and shared a few words:

“The festival was an amazing time. There were so many talented and enjoyable callers that I danced non stop. I felt like a crippled old lady by Sunday as the leg muscles protested. Would I do it all over again?? Of course, in a heartbeat. I stayed at the hotel off site but the shuttle service was wonderful. We didn’t feel like we were away from the main action at all. My friend and I joined an Alaskan cruise afterwards. It was great as well but the festival was certainly a highlight of my summer.”

As the President, I would like to introduce our new Executive Member Kim Forbes as Vice President.
